1. What information is collected on this site?
In order to provide our users with certain products or services on our Site, Sportlink and its affiliates may collect different types of information. In particular, we occasionally may need to collect certain types of personal information in order to provide our users with particular features, services or offers. “Personal Information” as used herein means information that identifies a person or allows a person to be located. Examples of Personal Information include a first and last name, a home address, an email address, or a social security number. The following is a summary of the kinds of information we collect at the Site from our users, and how we collect that information:
A. Passive Collection
Our software automatically collects certain information from a user's computer when that user logs on or moves about our Site. We do not link this information to any other Personal Information the user tells us; we only use it to get a broad picture of who is on our Site and which areas our users are visiting. This information tells us what's important to our users and what isn't, allows us to make our Site more interesting and useful, and enhances security and efficiency on our Site. i. Log Files

B. Active Collection

From time-to-time our site may request information from users as part of surveys, contests or sweepstakes. Participation in these surveys, contests or sweepstakes is voluntary and users have the choice whether or not to disclose such information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), demographic information (such as zip code, gender and age level) and other information about a user’s interests, preferences, opinions and ideas.
iv. Sportlink Postcards
If a user sends an electronic postcard through our site, we collect Personal Information that may include name, the user's e-mail address, the e-mail address of the recipient, the text of the message and other Personal Information and store that information in a database. This allows the recipient to be able to access and retrieve your electronic postcard, send an electronic postcard back to the user or enable other features or services.
v. Service/Product Updates and Other Communications
We may collect information whenever a user communicates with us or asks to receive more information about Sportlink or Sportlink services and events (for example, if a user sends us email or signs up to receive notification of services or events) This information may include the user's name, e-mail address, or other contact information.
2. How Does Sportlink Use Information Collected on this Site?
Sportlink is the sole owner of the information collected on this Site. Personal Information that is provided to Sportlink (such as a personal e-mail address) may be used by Sportlink in the following ways:

Additionally, we may share aggregated information (i.e. information we collect that does not allow a user to be personally identified or contacted, for example demographic and site usage information) with third parties such as partners and advertisers. This aggregated data is not linked to any Personal Information.
Sportlink reserves the right to share information with third parties if we are required to do so by law or if in our good faith judgment, such action is reasonably necessary to comply with the legal process, to respond to any claims, or to protect the rights of Sportlink, its customers, or the public. Information about our users, including Personal Information, may be disclosed as part of any merger, acquisition, debt financing, sale of company assets, as well as in the unlikely event of an insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership in which Personal Information could be transferred to third parties as one of the business assets of the company.

Users who no longer wish to receive promotional e-mail materials from Sportlink may opt-out of receiving these communications by replying to the e-mail with "unsubscribe" in the subject line, or e-mailing info@SportlinkUSA.com requesting to be taken off the list.
5. What security precautions are taken to protect my information online?
Sportlink takes commercially reasonable precautions to protect our users’ information. Physical, electronic and policy measures are in place to minimize the loss, misuse, or altering of any information we receive from users. Additionally, when users are asked to enter a credit card number, that information is encrypted and is protected with the advanced SSL encryption software. Encryption makes unauthorized access to the information much more difficult. While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also take reasonable precautions to protect user-information off-line.
